Health Assessments

Many chronic illnesses, such as diabetes and  heart disease, can be prevented by early detection and management of risk factors such as high blood pressure, obesity, family history and smoking. This health assessment helps to identify and address the risk factors to reduce your risk of developing chronic disease. The Canungra Valley Medical Centre offers a bulk billed health check for all eligible  patients between the ages of 45 and 49 years, as this assessment can help identify and reduce the risk factors of you developing a chronic disease.

To ensure that your care is tailored to your needs, staff at this practice encourage patients to identify their cultural background or ethnicity on their medical record.
